Day 25: Willamett River in Portland

Sally and I made Cherry Chutney in the morning. We had the PERFECT amount of everything while we were cooking. Just the exact right amount of cherries, the perfect number of jars, the right amount of water.

That afternoon we took the Kayaks to Willamett Park to meet up with Rachel and John. There was a huge festival going on in the park, so we had to figure out where to park and how to get the kayaks down to the river. Once we made it down to the river, we paddled upstream and took a look around. The water was warm and nice and just gorgeous. Juniper swam around, too.
