What a fun day! We slept in and had the best casual morning hanging out in the front yard. It was so sunny and gorgeous outside we just spent hours lounging in the grass and drinking mimosas (thanks Garrett!)
At some point we motivated ourselves to go on a 20 mile round trip bike ride out to Blue Lake, where the Mad River Brewery is.
The bike ride was so great. Rolling around the hills and past the farms and fields. The whole day reminded me of a summer afternoon in Europe, where biking on small backcountry roads to breweries seems like a regular activity.
Once we tasted the beer and picked up nachos from the food truck, we grabbed a six pack and found a rocky spot on river bank to relax in the sun.
