Bright pink wildflowers in sunny spots of the hill slopes.

Fruity apple smell of manzanita fruit.
Shoelace sized snake on the road.
Juniper rode in the trailer and did great except when she tried to go after a squirrel and face planted.
Going to bed sweaty and dusty and happy, but we don't have enough water to wash our faces.
Amazing wildflowers along the streams and meadows. Red, pink, yellow, orange, purple.

Drinking out of the cold spring and cooling off during the hottest part of the day.
Bear tracks on the trail.
Tired and exhausted and frustrated during the hike a bike uphill pushes. We biked 20+ miles ridden today! juniper rode in the trailer for about 1/3 of the way.
Huge big old ponderosas. Firs with their cones standing up. Spruces shading the forest.
